ALIA — The AI that speaks like you

Project Summary
Grupo IDEX hired me to make a short animated spot for ALIA, the public family of AI models trained in Spain’s official languages, for its Valencian version: “La IA que parla com tu” — the AI that speaks like you. Twenty seconds to tell one idea: most chatbots don’t understand you when you write in your own language; ALIA does.
The story follows a young woman who asks a generic chatbot something in Valencian and gets nothing but “Error 404 — I don’t understand”. Then the screen opens into a spiral of colour, the word “TOTHOM” (everyone) appears, and the conversation finally flows.
A flat, bright 2D world
The look takes ALIA’s green and lilac and pushes them into a flat, bright illustration style, with a character built to act with very little: a glance, a frown, a phone in her hand. The frustration scenes are tight and pink; the moment ALIA arrives, the frame opens up into a spiral that carries her — and the brand — to the end card.
